A plain way to price a home project

Actually, How Much? publishes calculators you can use for free. The first subject is home renovation, repair, and do-it-yourself work. The page does the arithmetic and shows its working, so you can compare a quote with the cost of doing the job yourself.

The site does not sell renovation services, does not send your project to contractors, and does not ask you to create an account. What you type stays in the browser while the page is open. It is not saved.

This website is currently free to use and does not display advertisements. In the future, we may earn revenue through clearly identified advertising and affiliate partnerships. Our calculators will remain free to use.

The planned advertising is ordinary display advertising through Google AdSense. Affiliate partnerships, if added, will be labeled as such. No advertisement or affiliate code is installed today, and the ads.txt file at the site root has no publisher record yet.

Before either is turned on, the privacy notes will name the providers and describe any cookies, along with the consent controls those programs require.
